Representation Porta Theater

Terpsis Chorou also presented dances from Crete at the Porta Theater on the 24th of June 2017. The live Cretan music by Giannis Kakoudakis, Nikos Kakoudakis and Fani Kakoudaki, in combination with the dances presented by our students, such as the Syrtos, Siganos, Pentozalis, Maleviziotis or Kastrinos and the Sousta, took our audience on a journey all the way to the island of Crete.

A different note was added with the European and Latin American Dances: Waltz, Tango, Salsa, Cha cha cha, Rumba and Bachata. Modern dance and Hip-Hop were also presented, whereas an urban folk cinematic note was given with the Hasapikos and Syrtaki.
